Department of Information Science and Management Systems

Established in 1993, the Department of information science and management systems provides theBachelor Degree Program and Master degree Programs (established in 1994), Bachelor degree program of extension education in Industrial Management and Digital Marketing (established in 2011; and the former is the Bachelor degree program of extension education in Industrial Management in 1994~2010) and In-Service Master Degree Program in Environmental Economics and Information Managem (established in 1997). The geographically and politico-economically marginal location of Taitung provides a wide diversity of local economics and the best environment for education and discussion of substaintial issues about human, economic and environment. With our curriculum design and local resources, we aim to train students to cultivate basic concept of management, to enhance familiar information techniques, to care for environmental and social issues, pay attention to mangement application issues and develop the integration deicion-making capability .
